Not a season to be happy about. Been a long time since we've updated the website, after having a horror year. We had damage to engines in all River Races leaving us at a loss to how this is happening and also to WHY we do this sport... The highs are great but the lows are also VERY low. The engine is currently apart and being machined so we can re-assemble it and get back on the water and try get on top of these issues.

Its here, the Southern 80 for 2010. MOiST is ready to go after a continual challenge to find that right formula to run the Nissan engines well and fast. The water system has had another overhaul and we hope we have got on top of it. Roger is also stepping up and having a run on the ski in the veterans race on Saturday. We are boat 12 leaving @ 12.11pm on Saturday and are boat 177 leaving @ 2.52pm on Sunday. Lets hope we can put in a good showing. GO MOiST...

With only 2 weeks before the Barrie Beehag on Sat Nov 14th, we have our number... Number 66 starting at 11.05am in the morning. The boat is sitting ready to go at this stage. The boat ran well at the last Point Score in the 1 race we did, and all at Team MOiST are desparate to try and get up and back the course this year. We head to this race with no expectations at all other than to enjoy the atmosphere of racing and try to get up and back. GO MOiST...

It's back!!! The boat had its first race run last weekend @ Point Score 2. We only did the one race, just to see how the new changes would handle in race conditions. Good news, it did well in very very rough conditions. Tegan Veitch the daughter of Geoff from Veitch Marine who does alot of work on our boat ski'd with Roger driving and Dids observing. We now look towards the Barrie Beehag in November up on the Murray River as our next challenge with all things looking good.

The package is nearly complete again!!! The trailer is all finished and looking beautiful after its 'facelift' with the new powdercoating to the trailer and now also the new checkerplate to replace the carpet. The boat itself is also ready to go all barr, the new fuel rails and new injectors that are going in over the next week. The repairs to the turbo are also done along with the refitting of the engine, after we removed it to do some minor repair work. While the engine was out we also got the steering cable changed over and also had the rudder crack tested as per the rules for the season with SRA. Its exciting to be having the boat nearly ready at this time of the off season, as we can now spend some reasonable amount of time trying things to find those inprovements in the speed we are after. A massive thanks again to 'Bocca' (Justin Hamilton) from Kev's Powdercoating for all his work in making the trailer look an absolute gem. GO MOiST.
