As Christmas comes ever so quickly, Team MOiST has been flat out in its pursuit to do some racing and hopefully get some results!!!! It has been a mixed bag over that time, with the Barrie Beehag being held in late November and then only 2 weeks after that the Victorian Titles on December 6th & 7th. At the Barrie Beehag unfortunitly we continued our consistant result of getting to the halfway point before issues arose and we had to abandon the return leg. With water and oil mixing creating a 'milky' sustance we pulled the pin on the race and decided it was safer not to risk permanent damage to the engine. So after a couple of busy weeks to get to the Vic Titles, the plan was to take out the Vic Title for 5.2 litre. Roger drove, Jordan observed and Kent skied, and it is with great pleasure to announce that we WON the race and came away the title holders. We still had an issue with the boat on the day however we were well enough ahead to get across the line in first place with all the team being extremely happy to grab the trophy. Now with the Southern 80 firmly within our sights, we'll enjoy the Christmas break but gear up for a crack at the great race in early Febuary. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, from everyone involved with Team MOiST.

Point Score 2 was a success!!!! The boat FLOATS, and it also goes, Ha Ha... Last weekend Dids and Roger took MOiST for its first real solid run since all the changes and they came away with a grins from ear to ear. The engine performed well and they came across no issues. The boat was entered into 2 races over the weekend with one on each day, just to get some time into the engine and give the boys a chance to monitor it and see that all was well. James Walker skied behind the boat and did a great job, and was aware of the teams desire to just go with the flow and see how things went. He was aware if an issue arouse, we would pull the pin straight away as Team MOiST didn't want any dramas as the Barrie Beehag approaches in mid November. Over the next coulpe of weeks and also over the Melbourne Cup weekend, the team will try a couple of gears & prop combinations to see what might help improve the performance speed wise for the Barrie Beehag until some more other projects on the go are completed. We'll let you know how things go and are looking forward to the Barrie Beehag.

Point Score 1 came and went, and unfortuntitly due to some personal reasons, we were unable to attend. The boat was delayed in getting finished but Point Score 2 which is in 2 weeks time in mid October at Lake Charm is our new aim. The boat is fully fitted out and bar some 'plumbing' and a couple of wires, the key is ready to be turned!!! The team is really excited about the design of the new engine which has the look we have dreamed of for years and years. Some new photo's will be on line into the near future for you to have a look. As previously stated a massive effort has gone into it with many hours and also 'grey hairs' going through. To get back out on the water and racing again will be just tremendous and something we have been waiting for with baited breath.
